An online seminar launching the project report of an extensive research study into non-legally binding weddings in England and Wales. Researchers: Dr Rajnaara Akhtar (University of Warwick) and Prof. Rebecca Probert (University of Exeter). In this seminar, an overview of findings will be presented from a Nuffield Foundation funded qualitative research study into why marriage ceremonies occur outside of the legal framework.
