2022 is an exciting year for sport in the West Midlands, with the Birmingham Commonwealth Games taking place in July and August and Warwick’s campus hosting an ‘Athlete Village’ for the duration of the Games in the new world-class £49m Sport & Wellness Hub. Warwick will also co-host the International Children’s Games from 11-16 August.
With fascinating experiences of both playing and delivering sporting activity in their careers, our expert panellists will highlight the vital role that sport plays in society, from bringing communities together to improving physical and mental wellbeing and facilitating socioeconomic prosperity.
