In July , August and September 2023 we have ran events to both educate about moths and discover the species we have on campus. The events went well, with us finding 10 different species of moth in July, a huge 41 species of moth in August and 8 species in September. Moths are a great indicator of habitat health and as part of our biodiversity work on campus we want to learn about the different species we have living here. We are pleased to announce that we now have our first date confirmed for 2024! Dan Hall will be presenting a talk about moths and their ecological value and conducting a moth survey. See more information below:
