Postgraduate School on Evolutionary Dynamics
Tuesday 11th December, 10:00 - Thursday 13th December, 16:00 Zeeman Building, Mathematics Institute
As part of a project entitled Taught Postgraduate Course on Mathematics in the Science of Complex Systems funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), we are pleased to announce the above Postgraduate School.
The core of the school is three hours of lectures by each of three invited Speakers. Participants are also invited to submit proposals for short oral contributions or posters.
The primary goal of this 3-day course is to illustrate how mathematical concepts can be applied in Complexity Science, with an emphasis on evolutionary dynamics and related problems.
Confirmed Speakers:
- Erwin Frey - Arnold Sommerfeld Center for Theoretical Physics, University of Munich
- Raymond Goldstein - DAMTP, University of Cambridge
- Alan McKane - School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Manchester
This school is open to all and registration is free of charge
