Shakespeare and the Law Conference

Warwick will be hosting an international conference this July on Shakespeare and the Law. The conference is being held in association with the Law School and the CAPITAL Centre and will encourage scholarly debates between the disciplines of law, literature and the performing arts.

A number of speakers are already confirmed for the event including Professor Germaine Greer, cultural commentator and author of the Female Eunuch; Professor Jonathan Bate (co-editor of the new edition of Shakespeare's Complete Works) and Professor Ian Ward, author of Shakespeare and the Legal Imagination.
