On Tuesday 6 November the Poster Exhibition and Award Ceremony will take place to showcase the work of this year's Undergraduate Research Scholarship Scheme (URSS) students. The URSS gives students the chance to become directly involved in the research work of the University. They receive a bursary to support their work on a supervised research project and have the opportunity to gain valuable skills. This has been the most successful year of the scheme so far with almost 70 students taking part.

The event will include an address from the Vice-Chancellor and the presentation of certificates. Students will also be presenting their project posters and discussing their URSS experience. If you are a student or member of staff who would like to come and see the work that has been produced, feel free to join us at the poster exhibition. Applications for next year’s scheme will be opening soon so this is also a good opportunity to find out more!
