Window on Warwick: Transparent Accounts

Wednesday 20 June, 12:30-13:30. CMR1.1, First Floor, University House.

The Working at Warwick lunches programme has been a valued part of current awareness and staff development provision at the University for some time. This year, the programme is being re-launched as the Window on Warwick programme. Window on Warwick will present lunchtime sessions on a variety of topics, which offer staff at the University the opportunity to Celebrate, Debate and Disseminate ideas and practice.

This course is for staff members of any type from academic departments, central administration departments or commercial activities who are not primarily involved in a financial role and who would like to know the basics of transparent accounting.

Course content:

  • What does "transparent accounts" mean?
  • Why do we use transparent accounts at the University?
  • What does a set of transparent accounts look like?
  • What is the 'T grant, 'R grant' and central service charge?
  • How can the Finance Office help you?

To book on this session, please email Helen Ireland in CAPD H.A.Ireland@warwick.ac.uk

Feel free to bring your own lunch. Tea, coffee & morning goods will be provided.
