Warwick Arts Centre will start 2013 with a bang with ground-breaking theatre, visually stunning dance, music to move the feet and the soul, guaranteed laughs with a bursting comedy programme and much more besides. Warwick Arts Centre are offering a number of 2 for 1 tickets for staff this spring.

”TheIn theatre, the Arts Centre welcomes the return of Cheek by Jowl and directors Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod with their French language production Ubu Roi – this will be your first chance to see the show in the UK. In The Zero Hour, imitating the dog mixes live action with pre-recorded film, animation, and computer generated imagery to create a world where human relationships are located at the heart of historical events. There’ll be a stunning junk-shop retro creation from acclaimed theatre company 1927, who will be bringing their show The Animals and Children Took to the Streets following a run at the National Theatre over the Christmas period.

Local and impressively inventive theatre company Stan’s Café is back for a study into The Anatomy of Melancholy, and how this 17th-century tome reflects our own concerns and obsessions. Fevered Sleep will deliver a beautifully creative and immersive piece of theatre, featuring music, video projection and lighting in their rumination on the human connection to the natural world: Above Me The Wide Blue Sky. In May, there is Break the Floorboards, a brand new Bollywood and Street dance drama, from the producers behind the 2011 smash hit musical 'Britain’s Got Bhangra'.

”ThereIn dance, Rosie Kay presents an exploration of modern morality, physicality and the presence of spirituality in our lives in highly-anticipated new work, There is Hope.

Later on in the year, opera fans can enjoy English Touring Opera’s Così fan tutte, Mozart’s high energy comedy about making mistakes in love.
