More about the 3MT® final
An 80,000-word thesis would take 9 hours to present. Their time limit… 3 minutes!
Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a globally recognised research communication competition for doctoral students founded by the University of Queensland. At Warwick’s first ever live final, 9 postgraduate researchers will compete for a £500 travel grant plus the chance to be put forward to the national 3MT® final.
The event will be chaired by Professor Pam Thomas, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for People & Public Engagement, and will feature a guest talk from academic, author and broadcaster, Dr Michael Scott.
