Ramadan: Temporary prayer space in University House

Ramadan Mubarak to our Muslim community at Warwick. We wish you a blessed and joyful holy month.

We have created a temporary prayer space in University House for colleagues to use during the month of Ramadan. CMR 2.4 will be available for University House-based staff, from 11am Monday 11 March, and then Monday to Friday between 9am and 5.15pm until the end of day on Tuesday 9 April 2024.

  • This space has been reserved for prayer and no further booking is required.
  • To access the room, you will need your staff access card to swipe through the access point on the second floor. Find the space using the interactive map.
  • Please bring your own prayer mat and anything else you need with you. Please leave the room clear after use for the next person who would like to use the space.

Queries

If there are access issues you can contact the Card Office team (cardoffice@warwick.ac.uk).

If there are any urgent issues in the space itself, during the normal hours of the space being open, then colleagues should email socialinclusionpa@live.warwick.ac.uk with the subject line ‘Temporary prayer space CMR 2.4’. The team will do their best to seek a resolution as soon as possible.

To find locations of other prayer facilities on campus, and resources for supporting fellow colleagues and students who are fasting, please take a look at the Religion and Belief guidance pages.
