UK-wide disorder: Support for staff

It has been deeply distressing to witness acts of disorder in some parts of the UK over recent days.

We take great pride in being a diverse and inclusive community and we want Warwick to be a place where everyone feels safe and included. There is no place for racism in our community or elsewhere.

If you are affected, please know that you are not alone. You can access wellbeing support via our Employee Assistance Programme.Link opens in a new window Additional support is available at the ChaplaincyLink opens in a new window for staff of all faiths and none, during term-time and vacations. You can drop in and speak to our Chaplains and Faith Advisors and make use of our quiet spaces and prayer rooms.

If you have any safety concerns, remember that you can also report these confidentially to Report and Support. Directories of multi-faith and BAME community support services are also available. If you have immediate concerns on campus, you can contact our Community Safety team on 024 7652 2222.

For any staff who feel vulnerable travelling to campus, please speak to your line manager about opportunities to work from home where possible. Line managers, please seek advice from your HR Engagement representative if needed.
