Updated University Privacy Notices
The University has updated its central privacy notices to ensure they remain clear, accurate and reflect how we currently collect and use personal data.
The privacy notices provide high-level information about the University's broader processing of personal data, including the types of personal data we collect, the purposes for which we use it, who we may share it with, how long we retain it and the rights individuals have in relation to their personal data. They are intended to provide an overarching view of the University's processing activities rather than cover every specific use of personal data. Where a particular activity requires more detailed privacy information, this should be provided to individuals alongside the relevant privacy notice, where appropriate.
Staff are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the updated privacy notices so that they understand how the University processes their personal data. Staff should also direct others to the relevant privacy notices as the primary source of information about the University’s processing activities.
