Judges at the Lens Awards praised the Autumn at Warwick video series – a collaboration between the Internal Communications, Creative Services, and Energy and Sustainability teams – for the “great story” and “beautiful visuals”. Join the next lunchtime litter pick to help the Energy and Sustainability team to beat their record for collecting litter on campus.

Just add yours to any standard green-lidded recycling bin around campus – where you’d usually put items like plastic bottles or drinks cans – and Biffa, our waste managers, will transport it to a sorting centre.

Spending time in nature keeps us emotionally and physically healthy – and this is backed by a Warwick study, which found a strong relationship between the amount of green space around a person’s home and their feelings of life satisfaction and self-worth. We caught up with Kelly Baker, Grounds and Gardens Manager, to hear about some of the fantastic green projects happening on campus – including ‘living walls’, which help to improve air quality and provide a calming green space for our community.
