New Academic Director (Employability and Skills)
Congratulations to Professor Patrick Tissington who has been appointed as Academic Director (Employability and Skills).
Patrick will join Warwick in January 2018 from Birkbeck, University of London, where he is currently Professor of Organisational Psychology. His appointment completes the Education Executive, led by Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) Chris Hughes. The Executive provide direction and coordination across key institutional priorities in education and the student learning experience.

We look forward to him joining the Education team in the coming months."
The Academic Director for Employability and Skills will lead the development and delivery of an employability strategy across the University, working in close partnership with academic departments, central service teams such as Careers and Skills and the Students’ Union. This will include leading strategies for the embedding of employability and skills across departmental curricula, expansion of placement-learning and internship opportunities, and enhancing employer liaison activity.
Patrick will join David Lamburn, Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education), Andy Clark, Academic Director (Undergraduate), Will Curtis, Academic Director (Partnerships), Louise Gracia, Dean of Students, Colin Sparrow, Academic Director (Graduate Studies), and Gwen van der Velden, Director of Warwick International Higher Education Academy (WIHEA).
