New Academic Registrar

Welcome to Dr Chris Twine, who has been appointed as new Academic Registrar.

A graduate of Aberystwyth University, Chris started his career in University administration at the University of Cambridge, before working at the University of Warwick in Human Resources from 2001 to 2003. He then held a number of management and leadership posts for over a decade at the University of Birmingham, including Assistant Director of Academic and Student Administration, and five years as Director of Student Services. Since early 2015, Chris has been Academic Registrar at the University of Wolverhampton, responsible for leading a range of teams across the student lifecycle, policy, quality assurance and risk management functions.

Chris said:

I am excited to return to the University of Warwick after many years, and feel very fortunate to take up this post at a time of exciting change. I look forward to working with colleagues within the Academic Registrar's Office and across the whole University community in transforming our services and ensuring real benefits are delivered for staff and students."

Roberta Wooldridge Smith will continue as Acting Academic Registrar until Chris joins Warwick in March 2018.
