The Learning and Development Centre and the Faculty of Arts are pleased to announce that the next faculty Teaching and Learning Showcase will take place on Wednesday 12 February 2014, 9:30-12:30 (Ramphal building).

The eclectic format of this event will provide a space to share experiences, ideas and examples of innovative approaches to assessment, as well as an opportunity to reflect on best practice and consider why, what, and how we assess.

The showcase will also include a poster session, offering a taster of the great variety of teaching being undertaken within the Faculty. This informal session will allow participants the flexibility to browse a range of examples and engage further with those most relevant to them.

Call for posters

Students are invited to produce a poster which represents exciting areas of your practice in a new and creative way and/or explores issues in and approaches to the design and delivery of teaching. The dedicated poster presentation session will take place between 9:30-10:00am on the day of the Showcase. During this time poster presenters should be available to discuss their work. Posters will be on display throughout the day.
