NHS asymptomatic testing service is now open

Asymptomatic testing on campus

The NHS asymptomatic testing service for staff and students at Warwick is now open for bookings.

By using this service you will help us reduce transmission rates and keep both the University community and your family and friends safe.

We expect most of the testing to take place on campus from 30 November to 6 December. This means that if students test positive, they can complete the required period of 10 days of self-isolation before travelling, without having to remain on campus over key holiday dates.

Bookings

Test appointments can be booked between 8:00am and 7:50pm and will run across 7 days from Monday 30 November to Sunday 6 December.

End of term and vacation arrangements for students

Alongside online booking for asymptomatic tests, we are also opening bookings for students on campus to arrange a departure slot to ensure they are able to move out of residences safely on their preferred day. We are providing students with guidance on rail and international travel too.

Read our email to students

We are writing to students this week to find out if they intend to stay on campus or in local off-campus accommodation over Christmas, and we are putting together a programme of support and activity for these students.

End of national restrictions

We will share more information once the Government confirms restrictions and requirements for the UK after 2 December.

This may include implications for teaching and learning, for campus services and research activities, and requirements for students returning to University in January.

In the meantime, please continue following national restrictions until 2 December.
