Behind the scenes at Open Days
Our Open Days are a chance for thousands of visitors to get a taste of what it's like to live and study at Warwick, and to explore the wonderful opportunities and facilities that are available to our students. Their visit is really important to help them decide whether Warwick is the place for them.
Open Days just wouldn't be possible without many of our staff and students helping out, greeting visitors and showcasing all that Warwick has to offer them.

I love the buzz at Open Days. We see hundreds of students and their parents on the Careers stand. It’s great to be able to reassure students that what will make them employable is the totality of their University experience, which means they are in a number of cases ‘granted permission’ to choose the subjects they are genuinely passionate about and therefore likely to do well in.
Anne Wilson, Head of Careers, Student Careers and Skills
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it was great fun talking to some of the prospective students and their parents. I was talking from the heart when I was telling the students that the campus environment was a fantastic place to study and work! I would definitely offer my services again, even though it was a tiring day it was very rewarding. I enjoyed meeting other members of staff from different departments within the University, as it’s so easy to get absorbed into your own department. It was a really fun working day!
