Campus Eco Workshop

Workshop: Making our campus a site for art, engagement, food, leisure, pedagogy and research

The University campus is at the heart of a wide range of initiatives. We invite you to participate in a workshop to develop a more holistic approach to maximise and extend the impact of these ideas. Join colleagues from academic, administrative and estate staff, students, members of the local community and neighbouring schools to discuss how these different approaches might be realised in the campus landscape with a significant milestone in place for the University's 50th anniversary.

environmentWorkshop initiatives include:

  • Art trails
  • Campus ecology and bio-diversity
  • Campus walks
  • Community garden
  • Eco-pedagogy
  • Edible campus
  • Interdisciplinary approaches to sustainability
  • Local, natural planting and wild food
  • Placemaking

The workshop will be held on Friday 31 January from 12:30 - 2pm in CMR 1.1, University House. Lunch will be provided. For more information or to book a place by Monday 27 January please email sarah dot shalgosky at warwick dot ac dot uk
