Warwick’s Staff Awards team are one of the final 3 teams shortlisted for the Internal Communications Campaign Award at the CIPR PRide Awards (Midlands).
The team, from Internal Communications and the staff awards working group, put together an online and offline campaign to promote the 2015/16 awards, encourage nominations and celebrate success. A website, digital screens, posters, roadshows, departmental communications and an insite campaign ensured that nominations rose by a third, and online coverage and banner stands after the event recognised the winners and shared their stories.
Julia Rogers, Internal Communications Manager, said:
The Staff Awards are a really important way of recognising the exceptional contributions that people across the University make to Warwick’s success. We were keen to make the second year of the awards bigger and better, and focused on simplifying the process and increasing nominations, reaching more people both online and through face-to-face communications.
This campaign was a real collaborative effort with Warwick Print and Design, Marketing, Warwick Conferences and other members of the Staff Awards working group. We’re delighted that we made the shortlist for the CIPR PRide award!"
The CIPR PRide Award regional winners will be announced at an Awards ceremony in Birmingham on Friday 30 September.
