New Dean of Students
Congratulations to Dr Rebecca Freeman who took up the role of Dean of Students from 1 September 2019.
Beccy took up post as Dean of Students in September 2019, providing strategic leadership of personal tutoring and student life as part of the learning experience at Warwick. She will be working as part of Education Executive and in close partnership with academic departments, Wellbeing Support Services and the Students’ Union.
About Beccy
Beccy has held a number of roles with a focus on the enhancement of the student experience both here at Warwick, in the School of Life Sciences, and within the wider sector with a focus on student voice, engagement and educational enhancement, winning a Warwick Award for Teaching Excellence in 2019.
Beccy said:
“I am delighted to take up the post of Dean of Students at the University of Warwick. I look forward to working with Warwick staff and students university-wide to further our commitment to excellent academic and pastoral support as part of a strong and supportive learning community.”
