18 September, 9am: The temporary traffic lights on Gibbet Hill Road are stuck on red. Police, estates and the security team are manually directing traffic while the problem is being fixed.

11 September, 2.40pm: It has been reported that the roadworks and temporary traffic lights on Stoneleigh Road have now been removed and traffic is moving normally. The Cryfield roundabout traffic lights are still in place and are expected to remain until Friday 20 September.

10 September, 3.45pm: National Grid have advised that the temporary traffic lights on Stoneleigh Road will be removed tomorrow morning. However, they haven't advised on a specific time, so staff are advised to consider an alternative route tomorrow morning if possible.

10 September, 2pm: Staff will be aware that there are temporary traffic lights at the top of Stoneleigh Road, close to the Gibbet Hill Road/ Kenilworth Road junction which are causing delays. National Grid have advised that these are emergency gas main works which need to be carried out immediately. We are trying to find out more about these roadworks and will share information as soon as we can.

There are also temporary traffic lights at the Cryfield roundabout on Gibbet Hill Road as part of the gas main works to the Cryfield area, which are causing some delays. These are due to complete by the end of the week and further information will be shared when it is known.

Staff are therefore advised, where possible, to consider alternative routes, avoiding Gibbet Hill Road if they can.

Further updates will be posted on this page as we receive them.
