Professor David Lamburn has taken the decision to step down from his role as Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) and take retirement in May 2020.

David has been at Warwick for 15 years, making a massive commitment to teaching and learning at Warwick and to supporting our departments and students.

Chris Hughes, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Education, said:

“David has been an excellent Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor and all-round colleague, and his expertise and wise counsel will be greatly missed by the Education Executive and broader University.”

Stuart Croft, Vice-Chancellor, said:

“I have always really valued David’s wisdom, directness, and ability to get things done. He has made a huge contribution to Warwick’s development and growth, and I am really grateful to him.”

We are sure that many colleagues will join us in extending congratulations to David on his retirement.
