Appropriate use of email

Each time one of us sends an email from our work account (or even using a personal email which shows association with the University eg "joebloggswarwickstaff@hotmail.com") we are representing the University and affecting its reputation. So please, as the vast majority of you do, keep the tone of all emails sent from your work email address polite and befitting of the University’s reputation. In addition, although reasonable use of work email for personal use is permitted, please use a personal email for any (i) prolonged correspondence and/or (ii) matter involving a dispute or complaint. And please bear in mind that any personal emails on the University’s systems are disclosable under any internal investigations and requests under the Freedom of Information Act and subject access requests.
