Faculty of Arts Building (FAB) Opening Ceremony and FAB Fest
All staff and students are invited to the official opening of the Faculty of Arts Building (FAB) taking place at midday on Friday, 20 May. The opening ceremony will be followed by FAB Fest – a festival celebrating the arts at Warwick. FAB Fest is an afternoon of workshops, activities, performances and other events taking place right across the building and spilling out onto Senate House Lawn and the other green spaces in the vicinity. This programme of events will be delivered by academic staff, students, alumni and guest practitioners. They include:
- Printmaking workshops
- Poetry workshops
- Film screenings
- VR gaming experiences
- Dance and music performances
- Bridgerton dance workshops
- Roman cookery demonstrations
- Escape Room Experiences
- A showcase of the Antiquities Room
- Gems from the collection of the Modern Records Centre
- Tours of the building and the building’s artworks
- Learning Latin Classes and much more.
