Discount on St John Ambulance Course

Students and Staff at Warwick University are being offered the chance to learn first aid at a discounted rate to increase the number of people who know the aidskills to help save a life.

The charity’s LINKS group, which is made up of trained first aiders who are all studying at Warwick University, is holding two Essential first aid (all ages) courses at the university on May 5 from midday to 3pm and June 16 from 1pm to 4pm.

For just £20, the three hour session trains people to deal with serious conditions and incidents and is ideal if you want to know what to do when faced with a casualty of any age. The course, which usually costs £30, uses hands-on demonstrations and covers emergency life support procedures for adults, children and infants.

To book a place on the course, purchase a ticket from the events page on the Warwick Student’s Union website at www.warwicksu.com or email us at welcome at warwicklinks dot org dot uk. For more information about joining Warwick LINKS view our website.
