Ford Blue Oval Scholarships - apply now

Applications are now invited from first year Engineering and Computer Science undergraduates for the Ford Blue Oval Scholarship programme. A total of 10 scholarships are available worth £10,000 for a three or four year course.

About the Ford Blue Oval Scholarship programme

The programme is intended to help develop the UK’s next generation of student engineers, scientists and innovators. Warwick has been awarded 10 scholarships for the 2012-13 academic year which will provide sponsorship of £10,000 per student over the course of an undergraduate degree.

Announced by William Clay Ford, great-grandson of Henry Ford and executive chairman of Ford Motor Company, the scholarship programme recognises the skills that are fundamental to Ford’s future industrial base, the rebalancing of the UK economy and long-term economic success.

Ford of Britain is celebrating both 100 years as a leading marketing and sales operation in the UK, reinforcing its relationship with a country which has made it the market leader in car sales for 35 consecutive years and the commercial vehicle sales leader for 46 years.

Who can apply?

The scholarships are intended for new undergraduate students who commenced their studies at Warwick in October 2012 and who have enrolled on certain courses based in the School of Engineering or the Department of Computer Science. Please see the list of eligible courses (PDF Document)
