Warwick has joined the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils

Warwick has recently joined the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils (GFCC). The GFCC is a network of leaders and organizations from around the world committed to the implementation of competitiveness strategies to drive innovation, productivity and prosperity for their nations, regions and cities. Founded in 2010, the GFCC currently includes organizations from over 25 countries.

Recognising the role of universities and research organisations as growth engines for the knowledge economy, GFCC have created the opportunity for universities and research organisations to join them as associate members and have established the GFCC University and Research Leadership Forum. This forum will explore the evolving roles of universities and research organisations in the 21st century, and set a global agenda for institutions to collaborate and remain world-class in developing talent, driving innovation, and delivering prosperity to their countries and communities.
