The International Office, in partnership with the Students’ Union, is delighted to introduce the first cohort of Go Global Ambassadors. The team of 28 students will be volunteering their time to promote wider awareness and understanding of the Go Global initiative.
They will work with the International Office and the Students’ Union to highlight the ways in which Warwick students can have a truly global experience, both here on campus and overseas, whilst increasing their international outlook and developing their intercultural competence. The ambassadors will be supported in their experience with training and development opportunities.
The next event on the Go Global calendar will be the Go Global Fair on Wednesday 12 November, 12-4pm, in the Students’ Union Atrium. It is open to all students and will feature stands representing the many different ways to ‘go global’ through Warwick programs including Study Abroad, volunteering, society membership, language learning and work experience. Student societies will be adding a global feel to the event with performances.
To understand more about the initiative, the International Office has commissioned a short video to highlight the Go Global vision:
