On Saturday 25th April, Warwick senior administrative colleagues, both past and present, came together with delegates from our International Programme in the Leadership and Management of HE to consider what questions and issues we should be discussing now to address the needs of students graduating in 2035.
Why that year? Because these future students are just being born.
Guests came from the UK, Canada, Ghana, India, West Indies, Nigeria, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Kenya, Malaysia, Portugal, Australia and Hong Kong and considered The Global Student, Future University Models and Our Evolving Relationships with the Student Community.
Ken Sloan, Registrar and Chief Operating Officer said:
It was a thought provoking day where, refreshingly, people were willing to break beyond the short-term political cycle and imagine possibilities for the future.
