Access free health, wellbeing and financial advice with our EAP

In these challenging times, we understand that many members of our Warwick community will be affected by the current cost-of-living crisis, which may have an impact on your wellbeing.

With University Mental Health Day in mind, we want to remind colleagues about our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), provided by Health Assured and tell you about some of its features.

What is the Employee Assistance Programme?

The EAP is a free and confidential service which offers support on a range of issues, including emotional and physical health, mental health, managing stress and anxiety, money issues and more.

In summary, through our EAP you can:

  • Access a 24/7 telephone line for confidential support through a range of services, including online and face-to-face counselling, managing finances and legal information.
  • Access the My Healthy Advantage app, which features a range of tools, including interactive health assessments, fitness advice, self-help programmes and budgeting tools.
  • Access trained trauma counsellors for help solving an immediate and identifiable problem through the Critical Incident Support service.
  • Take a mini health check, watch a webinar or download their monthly newsletter.

For University Mental Health Day this week, we’re also sharing the latest blog post and webinar from Health Assured on Insite.

New feature – Wisdom AI

Health Assured has also recently launched an exciting new wellbeing tool – Wisdom AI. Wisdom AI is a pool of mental health knowledge combined with artificial intelligence and supported by professional counsellors. It is a search engine-style tool that provides answers to health and wellbeing questions.
