Join Ian Peters, Managing Director of British Gas and Warwick Business School alumnus, to hear more about the current state of the UK residential energy market, and his predictions for the future. The public talk will take place on Wednesday 26 February from 6-8pm in B0.01 lecture theatre, WBS. This is a free event but registration is required.
British Gas: The future of residential energy in the UK
Ian will reflect on his time at WBS and the changes that have occurred in the energy industry since his last visit in 2009, before describing British Gas' current operating environment in the fiercely-competitive and heavily-scrutinised UK energy industry. He will consider:
- What British Gas is doing to put customers in control of their energy usage
- How the changes in the political and regulatory context have affected energy producers and suppliers
- The technologies that will affect the way we all live and use energy in future
Learn more about this fascinating industry, and take advantage of the opportunity to ask Ian's thoughts on how it is likely to change, or learn more about his experiences while a student of WBS. All students, staff and alumnae are invited to attend the event. The event is free but booking is esssential.
British Gas Leaders and Graduate Programme
Following the talk, there will also be an opportunity to learn more about the British Gas 'Tomorrow's Leaders Programme' for MBA graduates and the chance to speak to representatives from British Gas about their Customer Insight Graduate Programme designed for Undergraduate and Masters students.
