Most people aren't using Internet Explorer 8 at the moment, including those on ITS managed desktops. If you are using Internet Explorer 8 though, Microsoft have recently made an announcement that may be of interest to you.

From Monday 30 June, Internet Explorer 8 will only support the light version of Outlook Web (the University's current webmail service). If you're still using IE8, we recommend that you upgrade to the latest version of IE (version 11).
