In memory of Joy Carter
Debbie Jones, Residence Manager, told us:
"We are all deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Joy Carter, our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this very sad time.
Joy had character by the bucket load and wasn’t afraid to speak her mind, she was kind and caring and had a fantastic sense of humour.
She was a friend to all who knew her at work, and she will be remembered for her laughter and her ability to show kindness.
The new students have arrived - Joy loved this time of year.
Although Joy is no longer with us her humour and kindness will keep her in our hearts forever."
The funeral will take place at 3.30pm on Monday 6 October at Cannon Hill Chapel, Canley Crematorium, followed by a gathering at the Standard Triumph Club. Cash donations will be accepted for Myton Hospice on the day, or you can donate through their websiteLink opens in a new window. Flowers are also welcome.
