In memory of Kit Lau
Colleagues will be sad to hear that Kit Lau, from Warwick Food Group, has died.
Fabio Finocchiaro, who was Rootes Grocery Store Manager until July 2025, commented:
"It’s hard to find the words to express the deep sadness felt at the loss of someone who meant so much to so many of us. For over twenty years, we shared not just a workplace, but a journey — filled with hard work, laughter, challenges, and triumphs. Together, we celebrated milestones, earned recognition, and built a friendship that went far beyond our professional lives.
Kit was more than a colleague; she was a true friend — dependable, kind, talented, and endlessly supportive. Her presence brought warmth to every room, wisdom to every conversation, and heart to everything she did. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Her legacy lives on in the work we did together, the memories we made, and the lives she touched."
Kit's husband told us:
"I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to you all at the Rootes Grocery Store. Words can hardly describe how much your kindness and support have meant to us."
"I was profoundly touched by the friendship between Kit and her colleagues, and by the compassion and humanity shown by all of you. It is Kit’s honour, and ours, to have shared in such friendship. Your kindness will be remembered for a lifetime, as a lasting tribute to how Kit touched the lives of those around her."
