The University has received the very sad news that Dr Allyson Reed died suddenly on Monday 19 January. Allyson joined the University as Director of Corporate Relations in April 2013. I know this will come as a profound shock.

Allyson was highly visible within the University up until Christmas but her health deteriorated following some unexpected treatment earlier in the month. I know that Allyson loved her job at Warwick. Through her impressive network across the business community and government she had a huge amount to offer the University and she would have been devastated not to be able to see things through.

Obviously, our thoughts are with her husband John and her two children.
