It is with great sadness that the University and its Department of Chemistry reports that PhD student, Kalveer (Ricky) Chall died last week. Our thoughts go out to his family, friends and colleagues at this time.
A book of condolence will be made available in due course.
Warwick’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nigel Thrift, said:
Ricky was part of two internationally renowned research teams in our Department of Chemistry and, like many young researchers, was contributing to the exploration and resolution of some of the world’s most challenging problems. He will be greatly missed by his friends and colleagues.”
University staff and support professionals are working to support students and staff close to Ricky. If you would like to speak to someone at this time, there are a number of support services available.
