For one hundred hours this week, members of student radio station RaW 1251am will braving the weather to present their shows all day and all night outside in the Piazza, to raise money for Coventry Cyrenians.

From 12pm on Monday 4 February to 4pm on Friday 8 February 2013, RaW’s DJs will be broadcasting their shows from outside, bringing an array of great music to the Piazza alongside a cheery atmosphere. As well as airing the planned weekly timetable, extra content will be broadcast during the night, from 11pm to 8am.

The society are attempting to raise £1000 for the local charity Coventry Cyrenians, which provides a range of services for homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged people within the Coventry area. The charity aims to increase empowerment and independence, whilst also rebuilding the lives of those who are homeless and disadvantaged.
