As part of the preparation works for the new NAIC building, the Estates design team have arranged for ground investigation works to take place from Monday 5 August 2013.

Contractors will be drilling bore holes and digging trial excavations to determine underground site conditions prior to the construction of the new building.

Areas of disturbance will be the field between University House and car park 15, the oval landscaping area and surface car park 15. There may be some background noise and some vibration locally.

For the duration of the works the field will be closed for safety reasons.

There will be construction traffic, noise and disturbance for 5-10 working days whilst these investigations are taking place.
