New username style for new University members

From Wednesday 28 May 2014, IT Services will start using a new style of usernames for IT Accounts. Any new member of the University joining after this date will have a usercode starting with a "u" followed by their 7-digit University ID (the one allocated on arrival and found on University cards).

In summary: the old format (e.g. abscde) will be replaced by the new format (e.g. u1234567)

If you already have an IT Account, the details will not change.
