Open Access week 2014

Open Access logoFind out what's happening at Warwick during International Open Access week, from 20 October 2014.

Open Access is a global movement and is fast becoming an accepted way of reaching out with research. Many funders have open access policies and some, such as RCUK and Wellcome Trust, have funds available to facilitate publishing research open access.

Book your place to find out more at Warwick's Open Access events:

  • 20 October – Everything Researchers Need to Know about Open Access (including new HEFCE policy) – Yvonne Budden (Scholarly Comms Manager)
    1-2pm, Research Exchange. Book your place
  • 21 October - Open Access Publishing – hear from Jan Kuras from the Royal Society of Chemistry about open access publishing options
    12.30-1.30pm, Research Exchange. Book your place
  • 22 October – Drop in session- Have questions about open access and want to know more? Call in to the Research Exchange between 12.30pm and 3.30pm. Helen and Martin from the WRAP team and Judith, Open Access Officer, will be happy to talk to you.
