About the journal

The launch of the journal is part of a University-wide commitment to ensuring the best environment for developing the next generation of top-level researchers. Exchanges is managed by dedicated staff and edited by early career researchers at Warwick. It has been developed in consultation with Reinvention, the successful Warwick-Monash partnership undergraduate journal.

Aiming to be a pioneer for on-campus research publishing, the journal is trialling the latest journal software as a technical platform in order to generate valuable experience that can be shared with others that wish to establish Open Access journals at Warwick.

Senior Editor and Research Fellow, Dr Hannah Grainger Clemson (Institute of Advanced Study) says

Exchanges will be published bi-annually and aims to provide both editors and authors with a readily accessible and supportive environment in which to develop academic writing and publishing."
