Staff are invited to help welcome visitors to campus at our next Open Days on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 June 2015.
We’re expecting thousands of visitors, primarily Year 12 students considering Warwick as an undergraduate option and their supporters, who will be able to find out what it is like to study and live here. Open Days play a big role in helping applicants make their decisions.
How you can help
We need your help to create a successful University-wide event. There are a variety of roles, each of which offers a rewarding opportunity to be part of a large and busy event designed to showcase Warwick to our prospective students and their supporters.
Roles include the coordination of student ambassadors, directing visitors and managing entry to sessions. Support is needed from 8am to 5pm on the day, and you’ll need to attend a briefing session at 11am on Monday 15 June.
Interested, but want to know more? Find out what's involved behind the scenes from some of the people who help to make it all happen.
If you'd like to take part, please discuss this with your line manager before signing up. Staff on grades 1-5 will be paid for any hours worked over their normal working hours for the Friday. Staff on grades 1-5 working the Saturday will be paid time-and-a-half by the Student Admissions and Recruitment Office. Grades 6-8 may be offered time off in lieu for Saturday, if agreed in advance with line managers.
Please sign up by Monday 1 June 2015.
You'll receive an email shortly after the deadline to confirm whether you have been chosen to work.
If you have any questions about the day then please contact Nick Banister at n dot banister at warwick dot ac dot uk or call extension 22099.
Our next Open Days will take place on 26 September and 24 October - look out for how to sign up to help nearer the time.
