The Government has introduced legislation to encourage employees to make provision for their retirement. This legislation is known as auto enrolment and requires employers to review arrangements in place to provide workers with a pension scheme.
The legislation applies to the University from 1 March 2013.
If you are not already in a pension scheme you may by law be placed into one, although you can make arrangements to 'opt out' if you wish.
