Postgraduate Research at Warwick

This week sees two postgraduate research events take place at Warwick, showcasing the outstanding research taking place right across the University. Both events are open to all, staff and students, providing an excellent opportunity to learn more about and celebrate postgraduate research.

Postgraduate Research Showcase

On Wednesday 20 June 2018, from 1pm, come along to the Ramphal to meet a new generation of researchers and enjoy dynamic, interactive presentations on a range of topics.

The day will include a poster competition and an open poster exhibition, plus a 3 minute thesis live final, including a public engagement presentation by Professor Kevin Moffat. No need to register – just come along for the open events.

Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Conference

In its inaugural year, and led by the Students’ Union, this new conference brings together departments from across the University, to provide postgraduate students, from all levels of study, with a platform to share their research with their peers.

Papers range from colonial Caribbean medicine, to big data and cultural industries, to television quality, and beyond. Alongside panels, the event will include workshops, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities aimed at the whole University community.

Open to all, staff and students, the IPC takes place from 10am-5.30pm on Thursday 21 June 2018, in the Ramphal Building.
