Warwick ranked in global top 50 for ten subjects

The University of Warwick has been ranked as one of the world’s top 50 universities in ten subject areas, according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024Link opens in a new window.

Ranking within the prestigious top 50 are:

  • Statistics and Operational Research (20)
  • Marketing (21-50)
  • Economics and Econometrics (=23)
  • Business and Management Studies (26)
  • Mathematics (27)
  • English Language and Literature (30)
  • Accounting and Finance (37)
  • Library and Information Management (42)
  • Philosophy (45)
  • History (=49)

In total the number of subjects taught across a range of disciplines at Warwick featuring in the annual list has risen from 30 to 32 compared to last year.

Two subjects – Marketing, and Library and Information Management - are ranking for the first time.

The QS World University Rankings rate 16,400 university courses at over 1500 universities in 96 locations around the world. Universities are assessed on a wide range of criteria, including academic peer review, faculty/ student ratio, citations, and employer reputation.
