Regional Engagement Director
Congratulations to Andrew Todd, who has been appointed Director for Regional Engagement. Andrew was previously in the role on an interim basis.
What does the position involve?
Andrew will lead delivery of the University’s regional strategy. He will manage the Regional Team who lead Warwick’s relationships with key stakeholders, including local residents, civic partners and regional organisations, and facilitate the University’s leadership role in the economic, social and cultural growth of our region. Andrew will also support the Warwick Institute of Engagement as Co-Director.
Andrew, who joined the University in 2004 and has worked in a range of externally-facing roles, said:
I am thrilled to be taking up this fantastic role. Warwick really stepped up to help local communities through covid and there is such energy and commitment across the University to make the West Midlands a better place as we recover from the pandemic. We have fantastic examples of the impact the University has on the regional economy, and how we change the lives of local people and local communities such as Canley. There is a huge amount of pride in the University locally and I am looking forward to working with colleagues across Warwick in continuing to identify opportunities to transform our region.
