Make your nomination: Research Impact and Public Engagement Awards

These awards aim to recognise researchers for the time, hard work and consideration they put into engaging the public with the benefits of their research and to recognise other ways in which all staff and students at the University engage with local communities and businesses to improve people’s lives – in the region, in the UK and globally.

The Arts Impact Awards were established in 2011, and followed in 2013 by Research Impact Awards in the Social Sciences Faculty. This year, for the first time, we have opened up the Research Impact awards across all four faculties - and have added a Public Engagement category.

The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday July 3rd at 4pm as part of the Public Engagement Network event.

Making a nomination

Nominations can be made by all members of the faculty, including academic and administrative staff, ECRs and PGRs. There is no limit on the number of nominations an individual can make and you can even nominate yourself!

The deadline for nominations is Friday 6 June 2014.
