Sustainable Cities GRP roundtable event
The Global Research Programme for Sustainable Cities is hosting a roundtable in the Mead Gallery on Wednesday 5 June 2013 from 2 – 5 pm.
Sustainable Cities is one of Warwick's Global Research Priorities. The University is addressing global challenges through our world-class multi-disciplinary research.
Three invited artists will give 15-minute presentations of their work. This will be followed by a roundtable discussion with Warwick academics, addressing the question of: ‘The Role of Art in Developing the Sustainable City’.
Speakers include artist Nils Norman who is involved in Cambridge’s Futurecity development and Ion Sørvin of N55. Visitors attending the roundtable will have the opportunity to comment or ask questions.
