Secretary to Council - Pippa Glover

Pippa Glover is to leave the role of Warwick’s Secretary to Council at the end of December. She has served at Warwick for almost 16 years, first joining the University in February 2002 as an administrator in the University’s then School of Health and Social Studies.

Prior to her current role as Secretary to Council, (responsible for the Governance team for Internal Audit and Institutional Resilience) Pippa served in a range of senior financial, governance and administrative roles at Warwick in academic departments, as well as in the University’s Deputy Registrar’s, Estates, and Finance Offices.

Warwick’s Chair of Council and Pro-Chancellor, Sir David Normington said:

As a new Chair of Warwick’s Council, who chaired my first Council meeting October this year, I have been enormously grateful to have someone of Pippa’s knowledge and experience in university governance as the Secretary to Council, to guide and support me as I took up the role. I know I speak for the whole Council in saying that she has done a great job in supporting us and we wish her all the very best for the future. We will miss her."

Sharon Tuersley, the Chief of Staff in the University Executive Office, will serve as an interim Secretary to Council while the University considers the appropriate timescales and processes required to recruit someone to a substantive role as Secretary to Council.
